OUR TASK: ORGANIZE A REWARD TRIP FOR CHIVAS’ BEST CLIENTS

 

RASK Travel has been tasked the organization of a global reward trip for’ best clients.

The main idea was to put together the ultimate “GENT” cosmopolitan experience through 3 European cities, including in the program exclusive experiences as well as “must-dos”.

 

 

OUR SOLUTION: LONDON – PARIS – BERLIN, 8 Days

ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart

  • Overnight Economy Plus (or higher) flights to London, United Kingdom.

Day 2: Arrive in London

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Private transfer from London Heathrow Airport to The Beaumont hotel.

o    Hotel description: London’s best new hotel, tried and tested both by RASK and our clients. It’s the first hotel from the team behind The Wolseley and The Delauney, with gorgeous rooms, suites, and two fantastic dining options: The Colony Grill and The American Bar. It’s lively, unstuffy and expensive, but not excessively so.

o    Suggested room category: Premier Room – 35 sqm, King-bed, very spacious with large hallways and sliding doors to allow more privacy and space. The room has a view of Brown Hartt Gardens, complimentary Wi-Fi, Nespresso, seating area and luxury bathroom. Design: Soft Art Deco.

  • Enjoy an afternoon at leisure in London.
  • Dinner at The Colony Grill Room – Inspired by London and New York’s 1920s traditional grill rooms, The Colony is one of Mayfair’s hot spots for a classic dinner in town. Enjoy any number of dishes from the all-American Buttermilk Fried Chicken to the timeless English Shepherd’s Pie. Lamb Cutlets, Duck à la Orange, and vegetarian delicacies are also available.
  • Overnight at The Beaumont.

 

Day 3: London

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Enjoy a variety of day activities in London, all classic and tailor-made:

o    ‘Shave & Trim’ at the Refinery, Mayfair – London’s one-stop Grooming Emporium for men (“The Rolls Royce of men’s grooming, according to Men’s Fitness magazine). The Refinery offers a variety of treatments for men, from barbering to skincare and luxurious spa treatments.

o    London for beginners – Visit London’s main attractions with a private guide. These include (time permitting): London Eye, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and more. You will also stroll through some local neighbourhoods and see the different character and residents each one has.

  • Suggested evening by Chivas Regal.
  • Overnight at The Beaumont.

Day 4: London – Paris

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Private transfer from The Beaumont to London St. Pancras International station for a First Class Eurostar train to Paris.
  • Private transfer from Paris Gard du Nord station to Le Royal Monceau hotel.

o    Hotel description: Run by Raffles, Le Royal Monceau is the less stuffy/touristy version of the Singaporean version, while still living up to the same levels of luxury and service. The food and beverage outlets are spectacular and include the 1 Michelin star Il Carpaccio in addition to eclectic Le Bar Long. The spa is also not to be missed (1,500 sqm with a 23sqm infinity pool).

o    Suggested room category: Deluxe Collection Room – 40 sqm, King-bed, hand-crafted furniture designed by Philippe Starck, acoustic guitar for personal use, and artwork from the hotel’s private collection. Design: Classic 1940’s and 50’s.

  • Le Cordon Bleu cooking class – Experience a 2 hour full-menu food & wine pairing demonstration with a Le Cordon Bleu Chef and Le Cordon Bleu Sommelier. A variety of dishes can be served depending on the participants’ tastes. This will be arranged in the late afternoon/early evening in order to provide an evening activity.
  • Overnight at Le Royal Monceau

Day 5: Paris

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Enjoy a variety of day activities in Paris, all classic and tailor-made:

o    Private viewing at Musee D’Orsay – One of Paris’ most gorgeous museums, housed in the former Gare d’Orsay railway station from the 1800s. Depending on the time of year there will be a selection of excellent exhibitions to view.

o    Paris for beginners – Given the prize winners have not visited Paris before it’s highly likely they will want to get a glimpse of the classic Paris sites; Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, and more. We can arrange for a private guide to show them around the city and give them an ‘inside view’.

  • Evening at leisure.
  • Overnight at Le Royal Monceau.

Day 6: Paris – Berlin

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Private transfer to Charles de Gaulle or Orly airport for a 1 hr 40 min flight to Berlin Tegel Airport.
  • Private transfer from Berlin Tegel Airport to Das Stue hotel.

o    Hotel description: Located in the former Royal Danish Embassy, Das Stue is in the heart of Berlin’s diplomatic district, providing perfect access to some of Berlin’s main sites. The food outlets are run by 5 Michelin star chef Paco Pérez and draw diners from around the world. A member of Design Hotels

o    Suggested room category: Embassy Room – 30 sqm, King-bed, floor to ceiling panoramic windows, complimentary Wi-Fi, luxury bathroom with rain shower and bathtub. Some rooms have terraces/balconies. Style: Modern design.

  • Dinner at Borchardt Brasserie – Blending French and German cuisine, Borchardt Brasserie is the perfect place to complete the transition from Paris to Berlin. The dishes are fresh, local, and full of history.. as is the restaurant. We have had many happy clients report back after a night of good food and wine.
  • Overnight at Das Stue.

Day 7: Berlin

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Enjoy a variety of day activities in Berlin, all classic and tailor-made:

o    Private viewing of the Boros Collection – Contemporary art housed in a former WWII bunker. With works of art dating back to the early 1990s, most installations work with sound and fit the space, to provide the ultimate experiences for all senses.

o    Berlin from the Inside – Visited the so-called ‘Barn Quarter’ in the heart of Mitte which has developed creatively since the 1990s. Not only is it the place to be for the design and art scene, but it’s also a hub of local workshops, cafes, and small factories. This tour will allow a glimpse of local craftsmanship, from candy stores, to paper supplies and coffee shops.

  • Evening at leisure.
  • Overnight at Das Stue.

Day 8: Depart Berlin

  • Private transfer to Berlin Tegel Airport for flights back to the USA/Canada/Caribbean.
