DAY 1

  • Arrive in Tel Aviv
  • Private transfer to The Norman Tel Aviv (luxury van, 7 seats)
  • Overnight at The NormanTel Aviv’s newest luxury hotel, The Norman has brought world-class luxury to Tel Aviv. A renovated 1920s Tel Aviv townhouse, ‘timeless elegance’ is the perfect description for the hotel. The service is impeccable (from experience) and the food is outstanding.
    • Room category: Deluxe (27 sqm)
    • Inclusions: Daily breakfast, upgrade based on availability, VIP guest status, welcome amenities, traditional local gift, 3pm check out based on availability.
  • Dinner suggestions (not included):
    • Dinings @ The Norman – Japanese cuisine, one of the best new openings of 2015. Sister restaurant to the underground London based Dinings restaurant, opened by ex-Nobu chefs and absolutely delicious.
    • Shila – Excellent, high-quality, fish and sea-food restaurant
    • Pronto – The best Italian in town.
    • Topolopompo – Very expensive, very delicious and very worth-it Asian food. This must be the most talked about restaurant in town this year, and it’s the place to see and be seen, all while enjoying spectacular food.
  • Bar suggestions:
    • Aria (great for both food and drinks), Esperanto, Social Club, Tailor Made, Brown Hotel Rooftop Bar.

DAY 2

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00 – Pick up and transfer to Jerusalem (1 hr) where you will be met by your local guide (11:00 approx.) for a day tour. Tour the Old City of Jerusalem and the Machne Yehuda market area, tasting street food as you go along and enjoying a casual lunch at a local spot. The Old City is comprised of four quarters: Jewish, Armenian, Christian and Muslim. Walk through the ancient alleyways and visit sites holy to the world’s top three religions: Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Dome of the Rock (if possible), Wailing Wall, and more. The Machane Yehuda market is a bustling market, particularly on Fridays, where you can find fresh local produce from around the country and see the locals preparing for the holy Sabbath.
  • 18:00/19:00 – Enjoy dinner in Jerusalem or drive back to Tel Aviv for dinner.
  • Jerusalem restaurants (or pick one of the above Tel Aviv restaurants):
    • Mona – Located in a beautiful artist neighbourhood, Mona serves international fine-dining food, based on local products and with a twist. Great food!
    • Talbiya – Café during the day, wine bar at night. It’s a sleek place with tapas style elegant dishes, and the wine selection is excellent.
  • Overnight at The Norman

DAY 3

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • 12:30 – Enjoy lunch at one of the following local eateries serving the best Israeli, authentic cuisine. From the world-renown Israeli breakfast (served late on Saturdays) to Mediterranean style salads, grilled fish, and more.. choose from the below:
    • The Old Man and the Sea (Jaffa) – More of a lunch spot, this is one of Jaffa’s oldest fish restaurants. You’ll get a never ending supply of salads and laffot to the table, and it won’t disappoint.
    • Hotel Montefiore – One of Tel Aviv’s best breakfast spots for the last four years, on Saturdays you can enjoy a late brunch until 13:00 and you’ll get the best of what a real Israeli breakfast has to offer.
  • 14:00 – Meet your guide for an afternoon tour of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. Roam the streets of the city soaking in the local culture, history and people, and discovering all the city’s hidden neighborhoods and gems. Visit the house of Ben Gurion (first prime minister of Israel) built in 1930 and then turned into a museum for Jewish and Israeli history. You can also choose to visit Old Jaffa’s visitors’ center where you will learn of the history of the ancient port city.
  • Dinner in Tel Aviv (see above recommendations) and overnight at The Norman
    • I’d suggest Topolopompo for tonight if this is the night to splurge.
