You will start your journey in Desert Agafay, an amazing site to discover the gates of the red city of Morocco, the beautiful Marrakech. This stone and rock desert offers a vast landscape, arid and lunar, however enlightened by an oasis that arises as of nowhere – the enchanted oasis. The Agafay desert, where silence reigns, is populated by eucalyptus, olive groves and vineyards which, thanks to a local river, are the ideal habitat frogs and turtles.
It’s time to take the road to Zagora through the Draa Valley. You will pass along 200 kms of dates palms. Zagora is a famous crossroad of caravans, located at ’52 days from Timbouctou by dromedary’. A walk in the fields of palm grove of Zagora at sunset will allow to go to meet the secrets of this unique ecosystem.
After a stop in M’Hamid, Morocco’s last town before the desert, on the road to Zagora, the most beautiful emotions and surprises await you – the pottery of Tamegroute by local artisans who will offer you an introduction to their art, the discovery of a nine-century-old library with its manuscripts and precious scientific treatises, the visit to a school close to an oasis (depending on the time of the year)…
Then, heading to the wild dunes of Erg Chegaga, you will be welcomed to a sumptuous camp set up for you. It is in this magical setting, on top of the ocean of dunes, that you will enjoy a dinner.
After a starry night, up to the wonder of a sunrise in the desert … A rich adventure day promises!
Your trip continues towards the National Park of lriqui. The park is characterized by typical desert landscapes of southern Morocco. In wet period, Lake lriqui is a place of call for many migratory birds.

On the coastal road linking Agadir to Tan Tan, discover the longest and wildest beaches of Morocco. Amid the Saharan dunes and facing the Canary Islands, this site was called Playa Blanca by Spanish sailors. The area offers a spectacular scenery of ocean and desert, mountains and the oasis.
Before heading back to Marrakech, you will enjoy a night in a former military fort built in 1935 on the heights of the village of Mirleft.
